Facility & Real Estate Management (FREM) is a newly created global function at Tetra Pak, responsible for ensuring the quality of our facility management services worldwide, for optimising our real estate footprint and for providing safe, inspirational and efficient workplaces that reflect
the Tetra Pak brand.
The aim of this position is to ensure that all large scale Real Estate capital investment projects are specified to agreed standards, executed at expert level in line with best in class project management process's.You will also manage the technical standards that will be used in all projects.
This position can be based either in Lund, Sweden or at another major Tetra Pak site in Europe. In this role you will be reporting to our Corporate Director Real Estate who is based in Lund.
You need to be mobile and willing to travel internationally approximately 30% yearly.
Main responsibilities
• Develop, establish and maintain construction, building and environmental standards for Real Estate
• Ensure implementation of standard processes and procedures
• Manage major Capital Real Estate related projects
• Establish relationships and work with leading external providers in a collaborative manner including engaging and managing external Project managers.
• Stakeholder management
• Manage project budgets and other deliverables
• Drive quality and continuous improvement
• Health and Safety - ensure compliance
• Change management - Drive change
• Environment
Qualifications
As a person, you are a senior project manager that has a strong personal drive and commitment to meet complex challenges. You are a "people person" with excellent communication skills that help you create passion and engagement. Building networks to understand and solve obstacles comes natural to you. You have the ability to manage large construction projects and you have an excellent command of change and stakeholder management.
To be successful in this position you will have completed a Masters Degree in a construction related discipline (Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or Surveying) together with a minimum of 10 years
work experience in similar roles in an international environment. You possess a technical knowledge of building construction, M&E operations as well as health and safety at demonstrated expert level. Excellent command of English is essential, both written and verbal.
