Join Us in Shaping the Future of Train Connection Systems!

Are you passionate about innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence?
At Dellner Couplers, we're driving the next generation of train connection systems - ensuring they're safer, more reliable, and more efficient throughout their entire lifecycle. Our global team designs and delivers high-quality couplers, gangways, and crash management systems for the railway industry.

We are now looking for a RAMS/LCC Engineer - a business-minded, analytical, and technically skilled professional who wants to make a real impact.

Your Role
As our RAMS/LCC Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC).
You'll work closely with our design, project, and customer teams to integrate these requirements into every stage of product development.

Your main responsibilities include:

Plan and perform RAMS and LCC activities within bids and projects.

Conduct analyses such as FMECA, Hazard Analysis, FTA, Maintainability Analysis, RBD, and LCC.

Define and communicate RAMS/LCC requirements to sub-suppliers, and review their performance.

Drive continuous improvements in safety, reliability, maintainability, and life cycle cost.

Provide RAMS/LCC input for bid management and technical sales support.

Participate in technical reviews and negotiations with suppliers and customers.

Capture and communicate lessons learned to strengthen our design processes.

Ensure RAMS is considered throughout the full product lifecycle.

You'll be based in Vika, Falun and report to the RAMS/LCC Manager.

About You
We believe you have a MSc or BSc in Engineering (or equivalent experience), along with a strong technical understanding and analytical mindset. You communicate clearly in English (and preferably Swedish), work well in teams, and enjoy collaborating across departments.

It's an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Product development & design

RAMS/LCC methodologies and standards (e.g. EN50126, IEC 60300-3-3)

Risk analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
