hela Sverige Radio Products & Variants Lund works with the development of 5G High Band Radio products where Integration is an essential part. We are now looking for an Integrator to join our team of highly skilled engineers.
About the job
As part of our Radio Integration team you will be responsible for integrating SW and HW modules into complete Radio functions. Radio functions can be receiver automatic gain control, transmitter linearization, temperature/frequency compensations, beam steering and switching, timing, alarms, sensors and supervision.
You will work in a cross-functional team and interact with System design, SW design, Mechanical design as well as Board design and ASIC/FPGA design. Integration also specifies the Radio production test- and calibration algorithms and supports our industrialization teams to implement these in Ericsson production environment.
Radio functions must be tuned to secure functionality and performance of the complete Radio unit before handing over to our formal verification (I&V) teams. The Integration team is involved in all phases of technology development from technical studies, to pre-development and product development.
Daily work typically involves tools development for lab automation, RF performance verification using signal analyzer and signal generator, customer support and troubleshooting.
We work according to Lean Product Development where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is essential.
Key qualifications
Master or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer Science.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Good understanding of Radio System and RF architectures.
Well acquainted with instruments found in the RF/Radio Lab.
Knowledge in Matlab, Python or similar programming language is beneficial.
Previous exposure to embedded SW development methodology.
For this position we are specifically looking for someone with knowledge in Digital Radio Algorithms and/or DFE architecture to balance the team.
