You will join the Group function Group Purchasing, which leads NCC 's strategic development and major change programs in Purchasing. We are a Nordic organization with over 300 employees working together closely with purchasing under one common management.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and regulations while supporting sustainability reporting initiatives. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and supporting sustainable practices throughout our supply chain and facilitating the accurate reporting of sustainability metrics. By effectively collaborating with various internal stakeholders and external partners, you will contribute to the achievement of our sustainability goals within Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with sustainability regulations, policies, and standards, both internally and within the supply chain on an on-going basis.
• Sustainability Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data and prepare accurate sustainability reports with a primary focus on Social and Governance.
• Auditing and Assessment: Support with annual Human Rights Impact Assessment and supporting in the overall work with audits and assessments to ensure templates and tools covers the legislative requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant sustainability regulations and industry standards, ensuring compliance and proactively recommending necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including purchasing, sustainability, and legal teams, to align sustainable purchasing practices and reporting procedures.
• Training and Awareness: Support in developing and delivering training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of sustainability requirements, policies, and procedures among internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing sustainability performance and propose innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement across the purchasing organization.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare periodic reports on sustainability performance, present findings to senior management, and contribute to external sustainability reporting efforts.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor or Master 's degree in finance, economics, law, or other relevant post-secondary education You have at least three years of experience of working operative with project management, business analysis, process development, change management, management consulting or similar. Experience from development projects within Purchasing and/or Construction industry is a merit, but not a requirement. In the end, for us, the right mindset and drive are the two most important qualities in the person we are looking for.

You are confident, mature and have excellent people skills. You are persistent and have an exceptional drive and "get it done" mentality and you don't hesitate to try different approaches to find your way forward. Furthermore, you quickly "connect the dots" and connect independent issues to the bigger picture.

The work requires good interpersonal skills, you are humble, and you know how to create an open and honest dialogue with your colleagues. You prefer to communicate and work with complexity in a crisp and clear way. You also have a positive mind and can identify with our values of honesty, trust, and respect. You are fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages both written and verbal.

Additional information
The location is flexible and can be at any of NCC's main offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Oslo, or Helsinki. You need to attend meetings in the Stockholm office frequently and there will be travelling to the other Nordic countries upwards of 2-3 days per month. However, we do apply a flexible way of working and collaborate digitally . In accordance with NCCs safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
