The supply chain is a key enabler of Axis growth, and as we grow it is vital for us to develop our supply chain to support our growth ambitions and opportunities. At the moment we are looking for a Purchaser for electronics to join the Material Supply team within our Operations department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Supply team is responsible for the material supply of Axis products. We are 14 persons within the team. The collaboration interfaces includes all departments within Operations.
As a purchaser of electronics in our team you will:
Ensure correct material supply for electronics
Continuously monitor and improve supplier performance and develop the cooperation
Daily contact with suppliers, strategic sourcing and product projects
Updating the data base
Material planning
Placing orders and tracking deliveries
Handle invoices
Drive improvements for the overall supply chain
The position requires approximately 20 days of travelling a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven, structured and organized person with an eye for details. You are highly target orientated and proactive by nature. You can work independently but at the same time you have a strong ability to collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. Your high level of customer orientation makes you good at developing and maintaining important relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You also have:
A Master of Science degree or Business and Economics degree
Experience from working in an international organization
Experience of at least 3 years of purchasing electronics
Good general supply chain knowledge and understanding of the purchasing process
Some experience from purchasing and planning modules in business systems such as IFS.
Very good English skills both verbally and written.
You are used to planning your own activities, driving initiatives and being responsible for the result.
