Azelio is a Swedish company in the game of changing the future of solar energy. Already specialized and a leading supplier of Stirling engine-based renewable energy solutions, we now put an even greater focus on distributed and dispatchable solar electricity. Using a combination of proven technology and innovative engineering we have created a flexible solution that opens up unlimited opportunities for hundreds of millions of people around the earth's sun belt.

Azelio is currently in an extensive expansion phase, finding new partners and establishing presence all over of the World.

Therefore, we need to strengthen the Azelio Supply Chain Management team with motivated and talented people.

Today, we are approximately 11 people located in Gothenburg and Åmål. We are responsible for Supplier Quality, Procurement, Cost Management, Logistics and Supply Chain, and support our product development, product industrialisation and company infrastructure. The role of the Purchaser at Azelio is a perfect opportunity for a young professional to grow in a future oriented technology company where the tasks would initially spread across various fields (Project Procurement, Category Management and Operational Procurement), but would allow for a more specific carrier orientation at a later stage.

Your position

- The role of a Purchaser includes the support of our Category Management in developing a supply base fulfilling the needs of Azelio with regards to 1) number of suppliers, 2) quality performance, 3) geographical location, and 4) technology capabilities.
- Participate in product development projects and handle all purchasing activities such as supplier identification, RFI, RFQ, quote evaluation, and sending PO.
- Continuously benchmark suppliers for best practices with regards to technology, quality and cost efficiency.
- Collect information about market dynamics; create overview for raw material and follow up market development.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements including General Purchasing Conditions and Frame-, Price- and Development Agreements
- Handle Purchasing administration on ERP, issue and manage the PO, handle blocked invoices.

Your profile

- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
- Well-organized and able to work in a structured way, both independently and in a team
- Committed, self-starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work
- Solution and result driven approach, capable to prioritize and flexible in finding solutions
- Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel. Monitor experience is desirable
- Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
