The assignment is expected to start in February of 2019 and will continue until February of 2020. Job Description
A PQM is responsible to establish, plan, coordinate, control/monitor and organize quality activities in assigned project based up on Customer contract, internal instructions and regulations, local laws and regulations as well as overall responsible for applicable Certification requirements.
As Sub-PM Quality the PQM is also responsible for the quality budget and to keep the project time schedule of own activities. The work will also require international business travels.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
• The management representative for quality control and assurance in the project, with the authority and responsibility to ensure that the quality plan is implemented and maintained in the project.
• The company representative for quality assurance in the project, with the responsibility to report any deviations from the company QMS, to the Company Quality Management.
• Verifying the performance of selected supplier through audits and pre-production meetings that the project execution complies with the requirements of this quality plan and the company's procedures.
• Identify equipment, which need approval by local authority supported by Certification function.
• The management representative for all official contacts between the Company, Customer (within Quality topic) and the local authority.
• Request corrective action of non-conformances and verify performed corrective actions.
• Responsible for verification of the supplied product by inspections and review of test records and responsible for submitting verified documents to Customer and get their acceptance.
• Support the assigned project team with knowledge of working process and project specific routines, when needed.
Requirements
• Good interpersonal and Communication skills
• Results and quality orientation with focus on customer
• Experience with quality control/assurance topics 2-3 years
• English language skills is required, other language/s it's an advantage
• Experience from working in project team, Sub-PM it's an advantage
• Knowledge of Gas turbine product it's an advantage
• Technical Education B. Sc degree
