hela Sverige As a Project Manager at Services in Sweden you will be responsible to deliver projects to our customers in Sweden, and take an active role in the continuous improvements of the train traffic performance by providing maintenance with high quality.
The Project Manager will lead the project and cope with the unique challenge of continually focusing on a pro-active management that the functions keep their delegated budgets, meets their schedules and delivers on their obligation.
Leads the Project Core Team members in the successful completion of their assigned tasks to the required quality within schedule, allocated budgets and scope and with a full project view that encompasses areas outside own division together with the overall impact of the project on Bombardier performance. To this effect, the Project Manager has to ensure that all Core Team members have sufficient financial and reporting governance and that all risks and opportunities are properly addressed and mitigated.
The Project Manager is responsible to apply the key Project Management Processes (Governance and other BT directives) and the applicable tools for the implementation and is accountable for the strict and efficient application thereof.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Have the responsibility for implementation of the contract and delivery of the project to the customer, with a focus on time, within budget and all necessary quality and performance criteria.
• Be responsible for the Detailed Project Schedule, Customer Interface, Risk & Opportunity Management, Project Improvement Management, Project Launch Change Management and Contractual Obligation Management, Budget allocation and monitoring, Project Reporting internally both status and financial performance
• Have the authority and the obligation to review the effort of the Core Team members and to give directives related to the project execution, as such will be involved in the objective setting process for all Core Team members
• Be responsible for the management of all communication with the Customer
• Adapt the allocation of work packages between the roles and the day-to-day delegation of special tasks to the Core Team members in order to optimize the total project
• Develop "must do" strategies to increase team effectiveness and the belief that "none of us is as good as all of us." in order to help the team go through the distinct stages of 'forming, storming, norming and performing.
• University degree in Project Management or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience required
• Proven experience as leader
• Project Management experienced in performance project management techniques
• Experience of contract management
• Experience of scheduling projects
• Experience of working and leading multinational teams
• Experience and understanding of financial figures and how it affects the project and how to act on that information to resolve any issues
• Experience of identifying and handling risk/opportunity
• Very good experience to communicate on different levels with project core team, management, customer, partners etc.
• Strong negotiation skills
• English and Swedish business fluent are mandatory for this role
• Willingness to travel up to 30% per year mainly in Sweden
• The work location can be either Västerås or Gävle
