hela Sverige We are looking for a project manager with experience of aircraft development and certification who is interested in working as part of the project management team of large aircraft integration/modification projects.
Your role
As Project Manager for Design Management, you will be an integral part of one or more of the project management teams for our large aircraft modification projects. You will be responsible for managing the project's Design Management team, which includes Chief Engineers, Certification, Configuration, Requirements, Maintenance Program and System Safety Managers.
Responsibilities will include:
* Support development and modification planning to ensure that the work of all design management disciplines is integrated and enables timely certification and delivery according to plan
* Schedule and Cost responsibility for the Design Management sub-project
* Plan and follow-up design management deliverables
* Actively coordinate development activities together with the Functional Design sub project
* Leading regular design management meetings and ad hoc meetings as required
* Coordinating the approval and update of Airworthiness Reports and other critical design management documents.
Your profile
We are looking for a curious and driven person with an interest in (but not necessarily experience with) project management. You enjoy working with people, are a confident communicator, and can be trusted to take responsibility and deliver when needed. You are interested in developing your leadership and communication skills, and eager to learn from those around you.
As the design management team leads the design and certification of our aircraft platforms, experience of the requirements and processes needed for the development and certification of aircraft (either civil or military) is essential.
You will be expected to be able to handle complexity and find solutions to project problems which may be new and outside your and your colleague's experience.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
