At the moment we are looking for a new Project Manager to our Demand and Supply organization based in Lund, Sweden.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? At Operations, we are responsible for the supply and distribution of Axis' products, including Purchasing, Order Handling, Production, Sourcing & Production Preparation, Sales & Operations Planning, Quality and Logistics. We are today approximately 230 persons within Operations. Based in Lund, we interact with other Axis departments and a worldwide network of customers, distributors, suppliers, manufacturing partners and our configuration and logistics centers.
The Demand & Supply organization has the main responsibility to secure material availability to be able to deliver Axis products to our global customers. The component availability that Material Supply is responsible for is based on a forecast that the Demand Planning team is responsible for. Therefore, the interface between these two organizations are crucial. The Demand & Supply recently became a joint organization and therefore the focus will be to integrate these two departments and improve our Sales and Operations Planning Process. All parts of the organization are based in Lund but we have several interfaces with both Suppliers and Axis Sales Organizations around the world. You will be an important part of the team and your role will be to drive projects to improve the way of working in this new organization. You will take full ownership of your projects and start to deliver tangible results from day one.
Axis' business is global, and app. 15-25 days of international travelling per year will be required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for someone with an engineering education, most likely from Industrial Engineering & Management (I) or Mechanical Engineering (M), or a similar background. Your studies were focused on Supply Chain Management with good academic results, and most likely you have 2-5 years of relevant professional experience. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and social - teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Axis. In addition, you are structured and analytical. You can work independently but at the same time you successfully collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. You have a proven track record of initiating, executing and completing supply chain and business improvement projects. To be successful in this role you need strong communication skills; both Swedish and English are absolute requirements. You will work closely with the project stakeholders to fully understand their issues, create and implement strategies for change, and turn potential into performance. You enjoy and excel at developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. You also thrive in an environment where you plan your own activities, drive initiatives and takes responsibility for the result.
