Epson is searching for a credible Product Manager to join our Product Management team, supporting Visual Instruments (VI - Projectors) sales in the Nordics region. Reporting into the Manager, Business Management ; this role will support the planning, preparation, launch and lifecycle management of VI products across the Nordic territory as well as supporting the Business Managers, Local Sales Leaders, Marketing Services & the relevant Business Unit(s) with development and implementation of a 'Go-to-Market' plan for allocated channels. This role is based out of our Swedish office in Kista, near Stockholm with regular travel required around the Nordics countries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be the central 'Product Champion', 'evangelist' and 'go-to' person for regional sales teams, partners and customers on all product related questions/queries regarding products and associated programmes / markets / technologies
• Liaise closely with the Business Unit(s) product team to assist in the development of Customer/Channel Value Propositions (CVP) that fully match local customer requirements
• Adapt central training materials to communicate the CVP for products for local purposes, and present these to Epson and Channel sales staff
• Support regional sales and marketing colleagues at customer events / Journalist presentations / exhibitions etc. to ensure that products are presented / demonstrated at their best.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the key competitors, complementary vendors, end users and channel partners who influence the market
• Gather information from regional sales teams and directly from customers / channel on market trends and competitor information (new products / price positioning / promotional offers etc.)
• Provide feedback to the Business Unit(s) to ensure that local market situation is fully understood
• Help and support regional sales effort by giving guidance on key demonstration resource and supporting regional pre-sales on demonstration facilities
• Support regional pre-sales to engage key alliance partners to enhance these vital business relationships
• Provide input to the Business Manager, Local Sales Leader, Marketing Services & the relevant Business Unit(s) to support the development and implementation of a 'Go-to-Market' plan for allocated channels
• Support the Business Manager and Local Sales Leader on tracking the current and potential sales within the 'Pipeline' and use this knowledge to provide input to the sales forecast 'enrichment' process
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Product management background preferably within a related industry
• Enthusiasm for technology, and an inquisitive mind
• Good communication, confident, outgoing and presentation skills and the ability to network.
• Understanding of the market sector, and appreciation of major channel influencers and end users
• Ability to assess and assimilate multiple information sources
• Experience operating in a matrix organisation with central functions
• Good level of English language skills required to support interaction with regional & central teams
• Other languages would be advantageous
