LumenRadio is a high-tech company with the vision of replacing all cables in the world. We have been leading the wireless transformation within the lighting industry since 2008, where our technology is being used every day in the largest TV and Movie productions in Hollywood, and at the Coachella music festival. Our technologies provide unprecedented reliability for the most business-critical applications and our products are now also being used in building automation solutions, heavy industry applications as well as in outdoor lighting.

Using our patented adaptive frequency hopping technology, we develop both hardware and software solutions that replace traditional wired protocols such as DMX, DALI, BAC-net and Modbus. At the heart of our offering is our proprietary software, MiraOS, which we provide as ready-to-use products, radio modules, preprogrammed radiochips, and software licenses for seamless integration into our customers own products.

Responsibilities
As a Project Manager at LumenRadio, you will be in charge of development projects across our two business areas "Building & Industrial Control Systems" and "Lighting & Smart Cities". Your responsibilities will cover the planning and execution of development activities, including software and hardware design as well as production of new products. Having part of our production in-house in Gothenburg provides a significant advantage for product development.

You will play a crucial role in the entire product development process, which typically spans between 9-15 months. The role of the Project Manager is to ensure that we stay within the timeframe, adhere to the budget, and facilitate, improve, and develop our development process. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing laboratory testing, certification, measurements, and verification.

The project teams typically include professionals such as Product Managers, Electronics Design Engineers, Embedded Software Developers, Supply Chain experts, Marketing, and Sales personnel, depending on the project requirements. You will have the privilege of collaborating with passionate and skilled colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Your future
The products developed through your projects will have a profound impact on the company's success over a long period of time, making your role central in shaping our future. You will contribute to the development of next-generation products used in prestigious projects like the Superbowl and the Eurovision Song Contest.

The leadership in the team is supportive, with a lot of freedom and flexibility. Your line manager is always there to support, while allowing you autonomy in project details. Professionalism with a lot of humor describes the leadership well. You will be in a team of two, where you work closely together with Mikaela, the other Project Manager in the team. These are the top reasons why Mikaela thinks you should join LumenRadio as a Project Manager:

"If you want to work with cutting-edge technology in fast paced projects and have a willingness to learn and improve, LumenRadio is the perfect place to be."

About you
To thrive in this role we believe you are driven, highly organized, and skilled in planning and prioritizing your work. Your high energy and strong self-leadership skills are critical attributes. Your analytical mindset is shown through your rational approach and you are comfortable in an environment characterized by uncertainty. As a skilled communicator, you systematically drive progress and engage your team.

To be able to take on the role, you need to have the following qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary, ideally technical, education.
• Previous exposure to hardware/electronics, meaning you have worked with purchasing, design, project management, engineering, production or similar activities within the field.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English - proficiency in Swedish is highly advantageous.

While prior experience in a project management role is an advantage, it is not a requirement, as we focus on your potential.

We are looking for you who share our values - Professionals, Commitment, Fun, Courage, Non-pretentious, and Entrepreneurship.

Diversity and culture
We are on a mission to replace all cables worldwide, and we invite individuals who share our passion for cutting-edge technology to join us. We embrace diversity and welcome professionals with diverse perspectives who are dedicated to our ambitious goals. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds and genders to apply.

If you need any adjustments to support you with your application, just let us know by emailing nelly.bertilsson@lumenradio.com.
