BayWa r.e. Nordic AB in Malmö is now seeking to hire another Project Manager with a commercial and/or financial background to play a key part in the success in the Nordic & Baltic renewable markets in wind and Solar PV.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Initiate and analyse new business cases (projects), present them to company management, implement and develop them to become part of the company's project portfolio;
• Responsible for project and consultancy operations and evaluate, develop and build renewable energy projects and hand over commercially profitable turnkey assets to our commercial and industrial customers;
• Manage project acquisition processes of project rights and sale processes of projects to be constructed;
• Continuously implement and evaluate ongoing business cases;
• Initiate and develop new business models as the energy sector is undergoing an exciting transformation;
• Design project management reporting structures and escalation processes tailored to each project;
• Create structures to plan, monitor and document progress, project plans, status and approval reports;
• Establish information that enables effective decision-making including project portfolio reporting and prioritization;
• Manage relationships with landowners, neighbours, politicians, clients and other stake holders during initiation, project development and implementation;
• Run the projects in an efficient and systematic way;
• Manage and support in investor and supplier relation works;
• Manage lessons learned processes to continuously improve our project business.
YOUR PROFILE:
· MSc in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering, industrial economics, legal or that you have another university or collage education relevant for the position;
• At least 5 years of work experience from commercial project operations in the wind or PV industry or from other major energy or infrastructure projects;
• A solid project experience with knowledge of commercializing business models, expanding existing models and launching new opportunities;
• Strong commercial spirit and good technical skills with the capacity to have your teams striving to the same goal;
• Excellent knowledge of managing budgets and resources based on project plans;
• Solid experience of evaluation and management of employees, advisors and entrepreneurs in a wide range of technical, financial and commercial matters;
• Probably experience of acquisition/sales/financing of wind power projects or other major infrastructure projects;
• Communicative, relationship-building, analytical, self-motivating and enthusiastic, able to build trust and respect within teams and to work within int. teams;
• Structured and detail oriented, at the same time as it is outgoing, collaborative and persuasive. You also have entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, a high level of commitment and a strong customer orientation;
• Speak and write proper Swedish and English fluently;
• Int. experience in a multicultural environment is a benefit;
• Strong skills to use IT tools such as Microsoft applications;
• Driving license class B at least.
