What does your work day look like?
As Project Manager for Inbound Transportation Project your work will be assigned in a company that recently implemented a new organisation.Your duties is responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) and you must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Communicate with the PMO (Project Management Office), Sponsor, Steering committee and in programs the Program Manager and when needed other stakeholders regarding status of the project. Reports status on weekly basis. During the lifecycle of the project have responsibility for producing the various artifacts and documents defined in the Project Management Framework. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. May communicate with a company executive regarding the status the project.
Skills and qualifications
Expertise in project management best practices. You have excellent communication and leadership skills and excellent analytical skills. As a person you are self-motivated with a strong driving force. You have excellent ability to build good relations to executives, colleagues and project teams. You have documented (more than six years) experience from leading large projects or programs, involving all phases (Initiate to Close) and all Project Management knowledge areas. Additional Skills Preferred: Knowledge of the Automotive sector, specifically IT. You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and PMP (or equivalent) certification. When hiring we place great emphasis on personal suitability. In the role as Project Manager you need to be fluent in English. Other working languages are Swedish.
