The purpose of the role is to be responsible for all phases of planning and execution of medium-sized to larger projects (>40000 engineering hours) as well play an integral part in the operational development of the project organization.
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
• Minimum Bsc in Naval Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Certification in project management is an advantage, preferably a PMI certificate.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including 5 years of Project Management, preferably within the offshore industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals in engineering projects and the principles of approval by Classification Authorities.
• Experience working with complex contracts and negotiating with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders.
• High level of commercial acumen with the ability to understand the impact of strategic project based decisions on the overall business goals and plans.
• Strong leadership skills with the capacity to engage and influence others.
• Exceptional communications skills and the personal flair to effectively liaise and communicate with clients, project teams and senior management.
• A focus on results through excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Fluent in English both written and orally (company language). Swedish or additional language skills are an advantage.
