About the Position
One of three strategic pillars in Alfa Laval is related to products and building on our technological strength to increase and maintain our competitiveness. Effective and professional project management is a key success factor to achieve this. Business Unit Gasketed Heat Exchangers is now looking for a Project Manager to drive New Product Development (NPD) projects.
As NPD project manager you will be part of our Project Office team who is responsible for the project management of our total NPD portfolio. You will be leading, global, cross-functional projects including the coordination of different sites and functions in order to deliver the NPD projects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage NPD projects, including project planning, budgeting, delivery and follow up.
Operational NPD project team leadership
Interacting and/or reporting with/to Steering Committee's, stakeholders and line managers, as appropriate.
What you know:
You have experience of managing development projects, or subprojects, in an international environment.
You have an engineering degree on Master level, combined with a strong business understanding.
You are familiar with working in stage-gate development processes and working with tools for planning, forecasting, and following up.
You have the ability to lead teams and interact in a matrix organisation.
You have a structured mindset and is able to communicate at all levels.
You are business oriented and delivery focused.
