The commercial departments for marketing and sales are also placed in Årsta. The wood adhesives and resins that we develop are produced at Adhesives production site in Kristinehamn. What will you do?
As Project Leader you will contribute in both smaller and large R&D projects within wood adhesives product development. Our development projects are mainly carried out in smaller project teams and you will be an active contributor and responsible for parts of those projects where you will set and execute work plans, guide and support technicians, present and report and ensure progress and delivery in line with the Technical Project Manager and R&D strategies. You will perform experimental work within the projects, including synthesis, formulation and evaluation in our development laboratory.
You are a part of our R&D team and you contribute in developing the team's knowledge in relevant chemical and technical fields. Our wood adhesives are often included in load-bearing building constructions and it is very important that your mindset contributes to reliable and high-quality products. You contribute in steps forward in the development of groundbreaking innovation and stay constantly updated in relevant literature on technological progress.
This is a permanent full-time position, located in Årsta, Stockholm
You and your skills
We are looking for you who are interested in product development in the field of chemical engineering and in this role you will have the opportunity to combine and improve your engineering and project skills.
You preferably have a master's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry with a specialization in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, wood and fiber chemistry or physical chemistry. Having relevant experience working with product and material development is a merit. As we operate in an international market, good command of both written and spoken English is required.
For this position you need to be a good communicator with social skills, be structured and analytical with a drive to find solutions. You are happy to share your skills but also learn from others. You take own initiatives and strive to continuously improve how we work.
