The scope of ROSS is to develop, deliver and manage the digital offer for IKEA retailers, which enables the same customer and co-worker experience in all markets and channels.
ROSS operates as part of Retail Concept Expansion, the organization part of the franchisor of the IKEA Concept that delivers to the IKEA growth ambitions by enabling development of the IKEA business in existing territories and by expanding into new ones.
About the team
To support the implementation of the IKEA Concept in new and existing markets, the Retail Operation Solutions & Support team (ROSS) within Retail Concept is providing a Retail Package consisting of business processes and IT systems to IKEA retailers.
ROSS is connected to all IKEA franchisees. We currently support around 30 markets with approximately 70 customer meeting points. And we run an exciting expansion agenda with more markets to come.
Our efforts ultimately aim to enable the expansion and business development of the supported retailers.
We are a diverse and truly international team with experience from different areas of the business and we learn from each other every day. And....we have fun!
About the job
The Projects & Business Solutions team is part of ROSS. Our scope of work is to manage the ROSS project and product portfolio and to lead a continuous development of our Retail Package as well as associated roll-outs/projects. The project portfolio includes a variety of projects that aim to support retailers in 25 markets. The projects typically include both organizational, process and system changes that all together aim to improve the overall effectiveness, growth and business success of the retailers.
About the assignment
The main objective with this project is to upgrade the core component of our retail package globally. Together with a dedicated and talented implementation team you will work with counterparts both from our retailers and our software vendors to make this happen and we guarantee all ingredients that a complex and large scale project/program should contain including the fun!

Being a team player who can support and develop the team around you is essential and you see opportunities rather than problems.

To succeed in this position you will need to be:
Experienced in leading and managing people towards a clear goal and having a good understanding of team dynamics, also with remote resources.

Flexible to ensure an easy adaptation to new circumstances and situations yet structured in how you manage projects.
Excellent in communication to ensure the exchange of information, knowledge and experience. Fluent in English, verbal and written.
Additional information
This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö in Sweden. Travel will be required. You will report to the Service Area Manager.
