The H&M Group Expansion department is responsible for all current and future stores in the H&M Group world-wide (approx. 5000 Stores). The Expansion team drives all aspects of creating our H&M stores, i.e. to lease, design, draw, buy, and build each store.
The Non Commercial Goods Development & Procurement function is responsible for buying all non-commercial goods for the H&M Group stores. This includes tables, floors, lights, visual and marketing material etc. We are now looking to further strengthening our team by adding an ambitious, driven, hands-on and service-minded Project Coordinator to our Operational Purchasing team.
Job Description
As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for securing order placement & delivery of Non-Commercial Goods material to all our New Builds, Rebuilds & existing stores Worldwide. This means that your main focus will be on order placement and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery. You will work in a broad network towards stakeholders both within the H&M head office and towards our Suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
Have an overview of ongoing project time plans and deadlines
Proactively coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that needed operational activities are set before date of ordering
Place orders according to planned supplier allocation & lead times
Support in follow up with the suppliers to ensure that orders are confirmed and shipped according to agreed commitments and routines
Close collaboration with Strategic & Tactical Buy to ensure that Supplier Delivery Performance are met and that deviations are handled if needed
Able to identify and run continuous improvement initiatives within the Operational scope
Qualifications

You are highly solution oriented, quickly adapting to changes in scope and time plan. Besides your personality we see that you have
A degree in business/supply chain or procurement is preferred
1-2 years minimum of experience from working with Operations, Supply chain, Order mgmt.
Ability to identify & run continuous improvement initiatives within the Operational scope
Are used to working in Microsoft Office 365 and primarily in Excel
Are used to working and navigating in various different business systems
