hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Internationella Insamlingsstift För Mark oc i Stockholm Three Program Officers The International Land and Forest Tenure Facility (the Tenure Facility) is an international financial mechanism established in 2017, with a secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden. The Tenure Facility aims to: (1) scale up implementation of tenure reform policies and legislation; and (2) enable national governments and communities to test new models and strategies and approaches to implement law and policy. The Tenure Facility provides grants and technical assistance directly to Indigenous Peoples' and local communities' organizations to support their initiatives in Africa, Asia and Latin America and shares the knowledge, innovations and tools that emerge. Implementing tenure reform contributes to reduce conflict and furthers the achievement of global human rights, food security, sustainable natural resource management and other development goals. The Tenure Facility has a secured multi-year funding and the secretariat is therefore looking for three program officers. Please look at

Overview of the positionsAs a Program Officer you report to the Head of Programs and work with the full project cycle - assessment of concepts and proposals, monitoring, support and learning throughout implementation, and assessment of reports. You maintain close contact with Tenure Facility collaboration partners, including the Rights and Resources Initiative and other networks and coalitions active in the field, as well as with potential project partners, in order to define and take advantage of opportunities for scaling-up secure tenure. You also manage the work and deliverables of technical assistance consultants, Tenure Facility country focal points, and other assistance to project partners. As the manager of a subset of Tenure Facility grant agreements, you are (assisted by external resources where needed) responsible for facilitating, coaching and supporting project partners in identifying capacity building needs and improving their project implementation strategies, results management, financial reporting practices, and sharing of lessons learned. The position involves in-country visits to project partners, normally a few times a year. Overarching responsibilities · Contribute to establish the Tenure Facility as a highly credible and respected financial mechanism among international development institutions and donors· Generate mutual trust and respect of local communities, ethnic groups and Indigenous Peoples · Contribute to a collaborative and resilient working culture for sustained progress of the Tenure Facility's strategic goals and objectives Qualifications and experience· Advanced degree in relevant fields such as anthropology, land- and natural resource management, public policy, organizational and project management, business administration, rural international development and human rights· At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of five years in rural development project operations and in key positions including design, management, supervision and/or evaluation of projects· At least two years of experience working directly with Indigenous Peoples and/or local communities in Africa, Asia, or Latin America· Proven expertise and ability to successfully manage grants and consultants, including risk management and due diligence in project appraisals and compliance. · Broad experience gained by working in different contexts and with different financial institutions, consulting companies, civil society organizations, and/or related alliances and networks · Demonstrated expertise in Indigenous Peoples and community land rights and forest tenure reform, as well as in cross-cutting issues such as climate change, human rights, conflict sensitivity, gender equality and anti-corruption · Successful track record in project reporting and communicating project impacts· Fluency in written and spoken English, which is the Tenure Facility's working language. Preferably one additional relevant language, such as French, Spanish, Portuguese. An indigenous peoples' language is a bonus. We envision a diverse team with broad and complementary language skills, professional experiences and geographical and thematical backgrounds. Terms of employmentThe three positions refer to full-time permanent positions with six months' probation period. Starting date Sept 1st or at your earliest availability. Salary by agreement.
