Program Manager for entrepreneurial start-up center
We are looking for the right candidate to act as Program Manager for a new start-up center! This is the eleventh campus of its kind worldwide and it's run by the most valuable IT company in the world!
The centers are local community spaces where developers and startup leaders meet, learn, and connect. Here we will build a diverse community by providing training, learning paths, industry speakers and presentations, plus meetups and other community events related to emerging technology trends. These centers exist to empower learners with outstanding in-person experiences.
These are centers for technical learning and sharing, where developers and startup professionals can connect with their local community and build new skills to drive innovation within their organizations.
The Program Manager to help provide both strategic and operational management of our community space. In collaboration with our worldwide team, this individual will be responsible for planning and development of an onsite event strategy for both internal and external users. In addition, they will oversee the execution of day to day activities and will manage our site-specific vendor team.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and collaborative Program Manager to help provide both strategic and operational management of the center. In collaboration with our worldwide team, this individual will be responsible for planning and development of an onsite event strategy for both internal and external users. In addition, they will oversee the execution of day to day activities and will manage our site-specific vendor team.
The position requires a dynamic person to work closely and effectively across a diverse group of stakeholders within the organization and with many different teams to help organize, plan and execute operational excellence within center. It is a fast-paced role that will engage with internal stakeholders and with our customers partners and the community. This position will represent our customer to strengthen and deepen their relationship within tech communities.
The Program Manager will truly be an evangelist for our customers center in Stockholm and the events and programs that will take place within the center locations around the world. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of an energetic and dedicated team and provides a front row seat in an exciting group which is in growth mode as we redesign how our customer engages with the developer community.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional cross-group collaboration skills - In this role, you will need to successfully work independently across many organizations (external and internal) and people
• Planning, Organizing, and Executing - You should enjoy and be effective while running multiple work streams with different stakeholders.
• Audience/Customer focus - You should have an audience-centric mindset and appreciate and prioritize engagement with internal groups and the external research audience.
• Minimum three years of experience in audience engagement and audience marketing and communications, including building messaging and communications frameworks, digital marketing, and managing vendors.
• Two to four years of experience in project management and organizational skills including creating and maintaining master project and program plans, marketing and communications plans, managing to a budget and schedule, and tracking and mitigating risks.
The candidates we are looking for are fluent in Swedish and English, only candidates with a Swedish work permit already in place will be taken into consideration and you must have relevant experience.
The position has an end date, the 30th of June 2020 but with an option to extend until the end of April 2021. The position is going to be based at our clients' Swedish office in Stockholm.
