Productivity Engineer Floby

Under the department Manufacturing Engineering the industrial process of the plant is improved by four different teams. Focus is to prepare and develop highly efficient production systems and to foresee the future needs of the plant. In cross-functional collaboration with the different teams and with the operators in the plant we are developing the future engines and components.
As a Productivity Engineer you will work mainly with two processes of production and development, which is to support today's production in the improvement process and also be involved in projects focused on how to bring in new equipment. Production Technology's core business is to be the driving force in the methods, staffing and capacity in our existing and future production systems with the aim to continuously eliminate losses.

Main responsibilities

• Drive the process of workplace design
• Rationalise and improve the production technology
• Provide numbers and calculations for investment needs
• Participate in virtual preparation
• Contribute in design, process and product FMEA

Required qualifications

• Bachelor or similar in Productivity Engineering, Master of Education is an advantage
• Experience in Manufacturing and Lean Culture
• Knowledge of productivity and loss analysis as well as capacity calculation

• Training in occupational safety and ergonomics
• Experience in calculating time and man hours for production
• Experience of cross-functional work and projects
• Swedish and English, fluent in speaking and writing
