• Clinical applications as the diagnosis of Infectious diseases, such as HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis and respiratory infections as well as pathologies such as cardiovascular diseases or cancer, based on the analysis of biological samples (blood, saliva, urine etc.) and
• Industrial applications as analysis of Industrial samples (food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products) or environmental samples (water, surface, air) to determine the microbiological quality.

Clinical Product Specialist
In the field of clinical microbiology
Product Specialist / Sales rep:
As Product Specialist you will have comprehensive responsibility within the product area for the Swedish budget, sales and an adequate market mix adaptation of our products to customers in the medical field. This demands a high commitment, and work capacity/performance, result and customer orientated, power of initiative, flexibility, and creative; independent and above all possesses a high social skill and flexibility to travel mainly within Sweden and also in the Nordic and France.
You will report directly to the Clinical Business Manager.
You are a link between our internal global support organization and our customers. You keep our customers updated with the latest information and working with our technicians in updating instrument. You are also responsible for the implementation of user sessions. We are ISO 9001 certified and your work is done under our quality management system (QMS). You are responsible for sales to existing and new clients.
This service requires a high level of sales skills and social skills. It is essential to have training in microbiology and work from the clinical microbiological laboratory or the equivalent is creditable. You must be a problem solver that is capable of managing many projects simultaneously. The service involves a lot of traveling and the number of travel days per year may amount to about 70 pc.

Desirable background and characteristics:
• Documented work experience as a product specialist and/or Sales of products in the area diagnostic or the medical
• Knowledge in clinical microbiological laboratory or equivalent
• Strong background in Microbiology/Natural science and / or Biomedical Analysis with experience from the business area.
• Experience of Sales and negotiation skills / business minded
• High technical skills and social skills
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and result-oriented
• Experience of working with the Office package
• Mastery of English in speech and writing, and holding the B license
• Knowledge in molecular biology and immunology are meritorious
