With the growing number of film and tv productions in the region, there is a shortage of production staff in the Nordics. So, we are looking for a production trainee, who we can help foster during an extensive period. With this program, we are aiming to increase the existing talent pool of qualified people and create opportunities for those interested in film and tv. We hope that by filling these gaps, the trainee will gain a solid understanding of film and tv production with the potential to become Production Managers or Line Producers in the future. This is a paid internship, and the trainee period runs full-time approximately from August 2022 to August 2023.
The trainee will mainly work within the production department. A percentage of the trainee's time will consist of exposure to other departments and on-set experience by observation or taking on light tasks. The main purpose is to gain experience and learn the different roles within production management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reviewing incoming/outgoing emails and calls.
Help organize documents such as schedules, receipts etc.
Help prepare for meetings between departments.
Accurately taking notes from meetings.
Support the production team with diverse tasks.
Provide general administrative support.
Requirements:
To fit this role, you should have some earlier work experience, have a problem-solving attitude, and have the willingness to take on different tasks. Furthermore, we believe you are:
Proficient in English and Swedish.
Proficient with Microsoft office.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team player who works well with others.
