The Ericsson Supply Site in Kumla is globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialisation and initial production of the next generation radio base stations.

Publiceringsdatum2010-08-11Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a production engineer you are one of the key resources in developing new SMA processes and continuous improvement of our existing processes. You participate early in development projects and play a crucial role in the organisation to provide solutions to problems concerning the design, development and manufacture of our products in Kumla as well as globally. You are also responsible for driving cross-functional projects within your area of responsibility.
You are, together with your colleagues, responsible for production process dimensioning, layout, procurement of equipment, process documentation and developing our work methods in close cooperation with production staff.
You are a part of a positive and creative team of 21 people and will report directly to the Head of SMA Technology, a part of the Technology & Quality Department.
The job is self governing and stimulating with the opportunity to personally influence the development of Ericsson's SMA processes in Kumla and globally.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We believe you have a Master of Science degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience as a production engineer preferably in the field of electronics or mechanical manufacturing. You have both practical and theoretical knowledge of Lean Production or equivalent production improvement systems.
You have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and have experience from working in a project driven environment. You are used to documenting your work and have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. It is a merit if you have experience working with CAD tools.
