We are an important part of Global Product Development (GPD) and every day we support Volvo Bus Corporation (VBC) business regions and aftermarket organizations globally with our technical knowledge. We deliver professional support and solutions to technical product related problems of different complexity. We also make investigations and report back quality problems to our design departments.
We are now looking for a Product Specialist within Electromobility.
The challenge:
Each Product Specialist at Global Technical Service has an assigned area of responsibility.
You will be part of the E-mob team within Global Technical Service, working with Electromobility systems. You will, for instance, perform:
Electric drive line diagnostics support
Fault tracing in electric drive line systems
Problem solving
Reporting findings back for improvements and quality assurance
As Product Specialist you will, globally, work with all concerns that might occur within your area.
You will be the communicating link for our Market Clusters and Importers to different departments within Volvo GTT and VBC.
Location is Gothenburg but the job involves frequent travelling, sometimes with short notice.
A majority of the time is spent at the office where you work with computer based support systems, mail and phone, as well as participating in different forums.

Are you qualified?
You have high energy and you want to take an exciting step joining our team who sets quality and customer satisfaction first.
Important skills are:
Experience with 24v electrical systems (hardware and software)
Vehicle traction voltage systems, including HPC and LPC
Tools: Tech Tool, CANalyzer, Vision
Systems: VDA, SW Configurator, Kola, LVD, Fleet management
Beside your great competence we want you to be a creative and ambitious Technician / Engineer.
You must have the interest and talent to support our customers, carry out investigations on our products and report findings in a professional way. Since you often work in cross-functional teams, social skills and a professional manner in both writing and verbal is very important. The job involves both internal and external contacts, globally.
Language: Fluent English, both in writing and verbal is required. Further language skills are considered as an additional qualification.
Education: Relevant education from a Technical High School or University.
