What we offer
ART Seat & Safety 's purpose is to provide the Volvo Cars customer a unique premium seating experience as well as a world leading interior safety system. We lead the development of a complete seats into the vehicle, balanced to vehicle needs. Our diverse ART consists of more than 100 People with different competences and backgrounds, located in Gothenburg and Shanghai. We work in close cooperation with our suppliers, internal customers and several different car projects. We deliver to new car projects and to current running production.

The position will develop your innovation and strategic skills. What you will do
As a Product Owner you will be a part of a Complete Seat agile team. The Complete Seat team develops seats from initial concept, design, implementation to assure that the customer gets as much value as possible from it.
As a Product Owner for the Seat complete team, you will be working closely together with the Team, Team Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Manager (PM), Architects and stakeholders in other Agile Release Trains to maximize the value for our customers.

You will own the Backlog, the Vision and the Roadmap for the team. Further, you increase the value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the program backlog from a technical and business perspective. You will be the representative for your area and collaborate with stakeholder such as Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement etc. This will give you the opportunity to create a broad network within the company.

As Product Owner you will be responsible for the short- and long-term strategy for your components. You own the backlog and deliveries, and your responsibility is to prioritize, approve, release and quality assure the product.
You will participate in the Pre- and Post-PI planning to define the inputs, milestones, and high-level objectives. You also participate in DEMOs and Retrospective and you are the one driving the Backlog Refinement.

Competence is Important
You have a technical education, preferably a master's degree in mechanical engineering and/or 5 years' experience of automotive experience and product development knowledge.
You have good knowledge and experience in leadership
You have proven communication/coaching skills and proven knowledge in SAFe
You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
You have driving license "B" to be able to evaluate our products.

Personality and potential are key
As the work will be carried out both independently and in teams, we expect you to have good communication skills and team-oriented approach. You are a good team player and you recognize the benefits of working together. It is beneficial if you have experience from working in agile environment and if you are SAFe educated. You have experience from a global environment and have worked in an international setting.

We work in close cooperation within the ART but also with our network to ensure that the entire ART is involved in our common deliveries. You will work in a prestige less environment to focus on what 's best for the vehicle.
