Role Summary
As a Product Owner and Regulations Engineer within battery development for TRATON electric vehicles, you will play an important role in leading and organizing projects that ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. Your primary focus will be on developing the best battery pack on the market, working within the VCT Energy Storage Battery Pack and Vehicle team. You will be responsible for interpreting and implementing battery regulations, guiding your team through technological shifts, and finding innovative ways to collaborate and achieve project goals.
Job Responsibilities
As a Product Owner and Regulations Engineer, you will lead and organize battery development projects, ensuring compliance with legal demands and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with the Scrum Master and a team of specialists to interpret and implement regulatory requirements. You will take ownership of specific technical tasks, including lobbying and certification processes for batteries. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with teams from homologation, production, procurement, and other departments to align efforts and prioritize goals. You will maintain a balance between a holistic perspective and attention to detail, actively participating in the planning and execution of specialist tasks.

We also think you need:
Experience with agile methods and a solid understanding of product development processes.
Proven project management skills and leadership experience.
Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills.
A keen interest in technology and a willingness to engage in hands-on technical work.
Experience in lobbying or certification tasks, and ideally, working closely with legislators.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Competence in electrification or embedded systems technology is considered a merit.
