As a Product Owner you'll be working with engineers, designers, and musicians to create products that will be used by countless artists, producers and engineers on a lot of records to come. And sometimes you'll get to take a call from your favorite producer/guitar hero/dj, and you will get star struck. That's part of the game.
Position Details and Application
The position is full-time, on-site at Softube headquarters in Linköping Sweden. Applicants with a EU work permit are preferred.

Job Description
As the product owner, you are the product's main evangelist and the team's energy source. You love this product, you know why it will be a success, and you keep the team excited and make them happy! You also know when to lead, to say no and you're not afraid to ask for help when the project is failing. Product ownership is equal parts product vision and project management, so good management skills are required.
• Make a vision into a product
• Ensure necessary documentation is produced
• Product specifications, for engineering
• Product UX/UI design, for design team
• Product key selling points, for marketing
• Ensure the product's quality and competitive edge
• Leading the product project team on a daily basis, monitor and control the project, with regards to time estimates and work load
• Plan and schedule the team's work.
• Communicate with stake holders
• Celebrate with the team when the product has been released.
Competence and Experience
• Knowledgeable in modern recording technology as well as historic music technology.
• Understanding of electronics and programming.
• Music experience, as an artist, musician, producer or mixer.
• Experience of leading a cross-functional team
• Management skills: planning, assisting, understanding and leading.
• Fluent in English

Softube has done work for the most well known brand in the industry, like Marshall, Native Instruments, Universal Audio, and Fender.
