We are seeking a dedicated Senior Product Manager who has previous experience in a similar role or as a CTO in a start-up or scale-up. In this position, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision and strategy. You should have a strategic mindset and be well-versed in the application of technology, particularly in the areas of computer vision and analytics.
Ideally, you should have firsthand experience in leading projects and seeing them through to completion. Additionally, strong communication skills and a multicultural understanding are essential. You understand that the key to success lies in fostering an excellent team, where each member's contribution and close collaboration are instrumental in achieving business objectives.
About the project:
A sustainable farming project is a comprehensive solution for managing farms in a sustainable manner in the aquaculture and agriculture industry. It includes advanced trackers, sensors, cloud services, and a user-friendly web interface accessible from any connected device. This solution offers valuable data to enhance decision-making and optimize business operations.
Your areas of responsibilities:
• Create technical direction for sustainable farming solution and services development
• Build and implement strategic plan
• Identify vital resources for plan implementation
• Take responsibility for the entire process
• Develop strategy for product and technology to meet business goals
• Utilize external and internal stakeholders' feedback for informed decision-making
• Explore and define methods for introducing new technologies that provide a competitive advantage
• Pursue relevant technology partnership opportunities
• Lead and coach product and development team, collaborate with sales and marketing
• Establish operational and service delivery setup
• Ensure appropriate quality assurance practices
Requirements:
• Shown track record of leading product and technology with excellent leadership skills
• Technology background with exposure to IoT, data science, computer science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar quantitative area
• Deep exposure to SaaS, analytics, and computer vision
• Ability to build strong partner and supplier relations
• Understanding of technology trends to build a customer-centric product strategy
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
• Ability to align people's goals and motivators
