As a Product Manager for Automation Software at Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions you will manage the prioritization and the implementation of the roadmap. You are responsible for the lifecycle management of the Software Platforms; T-ONE, ARC and OM.
Stakeholder management is key in this role and in addition to your role as Product Manager for Automation Software you have an important role as member of the Solution Management Team for Automation Solutions - contributing to the overall Solution portfolio and roadmap.
You will be a key part of the digitalization of the intra-logistic business by taking advanced software products to the market. In addition to your individual contribution, you will be a strong change agent in our journey towards a Scaled Agile implementation.
Occasional travel within Europe will be needed in this role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Manager Software (OM, ARC och T-ONE), within the area of Automation
Collect, maintain and analyse internal and external customer requirements
Investigate, select, and drive the development of the product in line with the company's needs
Active member of the Solution Area Automation, with contributions to the Solution Area portfolio and roadmap development
Benchmark the product with state of the art technology and industry trends
Create competitor analysis
Create and maintain product roadmap, agreed with stakeholders
Present roadmap in governance boards
Communicate roadmap to market and sales offices
Prioritize and plan projects derived from road map as input for product owners, project managers and software development.
Your profile
As a person, you have strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers and building relationships. You are used to working with agile methods and have a good understanding of the product development process. To be successful in this position it's important to have extensive experience in product management, sales and business development and experience of automated vehicles and automation.
A relevant university degree in engineering, computer science, product development or interaction design is desirable. In order to succeed in this role, you need to have at least 3 years of relevant work experience within product management. You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Software knowledge and experience of SAFe is a big merit.
