Our open digital payments platform gives PayPal's 375 million active account holders the confidence to connect and transact in new and powerful ways, whether they are online, on a mobile device, in an app, or in person. Through a combination of technological innovation and strategic partnerships, PayPal creates better ways to manage and move money, and offers choice and flexibility when sending payments, paying or getting paid. In 2018, iZettle became part of the PayPal family. iZettle is on a mission to help small businesses succeed in a world of giants. Tens of millions of small businesses worldwide are still being underserved by the traditional players. By giving small businesses the tools to get paid, sell smarter and grow, we're empowering them to reach their full potential. Together with PayPal, we can reach 24 million merchants across the world with more of the affordable tools they need to thrive. Join us in putting an end to the ordinary way the world defines financial freedom. Ensuring that the products we offer are compliant is at the core of what we do at iZettle because we believe that our merchants should not worry about compliance related requirements and should mainly focus on building and growing their business. To achieve this goal, we not only provide a built-in cloud-based cash register functionality in iZettle Go POS, but also ensure to keep pace with ever changing legal regulatory landscape in all markets that we operate in and incorporate it into all our product experiences.
As the Compliance PM, you will work with your design and engineering counterparts to lead a cross functional team that builds and maintains our cash register products in multiple markets (Sweden, Norway, France, Germany). You will own the roadmap and related dialogs with multiple internal stakeholders. You need to be a leader and a coach - inspiring, coordinative, structured and catalyzing. At all times understanding and representing the team and your stakeholders - driving prioritization, creating clarity and enabling efficient decision making is key.
In addition, you'll be the product teams' go-to person when it comes to legal compliance of the business tools we offer our merchants in active and future markets. You will be the core stakeholder across several product teams to help drive product development from a legal and regulatory point of view, which means you will also be working closely with our Legal and Compliance teams.
