Background
This position is a key role within URE with focus on safeguarding our strong position in material handling segments and taking the portfolio to the next level in terms of market share, profitability & customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for market intelligence gathering, creating new ideas and guiding these through our organization to achieve products & features that our customers need.

Major responsibilities included in mission:

- Ensure the material handling line is a profitable business securing Epiroc's future in this part of the mining process.
- Develop and maintain the product portfolio for material handling in line with URE strategy.
- Drive application and technology development in order to further develop the material handling line.
- Identify and support customer projects as in the underground material handling arena.
- Identify and nurture cooperation partners, short and long term to ensure delivery of needed solutions.
- Secure an organization with passionate confident people through courageous leadership, responsible feedback and efficient team methods.
- Safeguard that everyone in the organization respects and live up to the values of Epiroc.
- As a member of the URE Global Product Portfolio management team, you support the global URE organization for an overall worldwide success.

The mission will be achieved by leading, supporting and coaching your team and through close collaboration with our many stakeholders such as; R&D, customers, customer centers and the divisional business team.

Skills and knowledge
To succeed in this role you need to have several years of experience working with mining equipment or heavy construction equipment. You understand financial performance and it's relations to business targets. As this position has a global footprint and involves travels, you are comfortable adapting your work style to meet local cultures when necessary. To have experience from customer facing roles and project management is also an advantage. Since English is our corporate language and is widely used within the organization, you need to be fluent in English both verbal and written.
