Who are we?
EE Platform (EEP) is part of the Electronic and Electrical Architecture (EEA) organization which governs and manages the EE platform for trucks, its infrastructure, the related toolchain and a set of systems and functions. EEP is responsible for defining and managing the Electrical, Electronic and embedded Software System through the product lifecycle, as a platform.
What do we do?
The Product Information Management group within EEP is responsible for building and maintaining an efficient product information management structure to support current and coming product development as well as contributing with Configuration and Product Data Management for the EE platform.
This is done by defining, developing and maintaining the way of working in terms of product information data on a system and platform level as well as performing and managing documentation and releases in the process. We are also supporting and providing training to teams and stream across sites and brands within the organization on the required way of working procedures.
Your mission:
As a Product Information Engineer you will be working with defining, developing and documenting processes and way-of-working instructions for various parts of our development chain with the overall goal to maintain a product information system that supports our current and coming product changes.
You will be part of providing support and training to our development organization on how to work withing our processes, to make sure that we continuously have a well-documented embedded system with adequate traceability.
You will be managing input and feedback on improvements on our way-of-working and do investigations on the impact in our processes and systems as well as propose and implement improvement solutions.
You will contribute to continuously improve the way of working within the organization, teams, streams and trains.
The work is done in a cross-functional environment with others in EEP/EEA, as well as with other development teams and streams in the organization, as well as the process and IT tools development organizations.
The work stretches both over maintenance/improvements of current processes as well as development towards our future embedded systems.

You must be able to grasp our engineering development process in order to understand what value you can add, to support and improve our overall development flow.
We believe that you are very knowledgeable in process development and process documentation. We believe that you have good understanding in development of embedded system solutions, especially how functions and services are realized through the application SW, the SW platforms, the electronics (ECUs) and the electrical components (sensors, actuators, etc.). We also believe that you are knowledgeable in Electrical, Electronic and Software development process and tool chains (incl Continuous Integration)
A good insight in the overall GTT product documentation IT tools and systems, and the flow of information in these systems as well as good understanding of Agile development is a benefit.
