Human Resources and Organizational Development, HR & OD will play a vital role to guide and support Group Digital & IT through the digital transformation, as one of the biggest challenges in this journey is the transformation of our workforce competence, skills and capacity. It will require agile and efficient workforce analytics to develop a workforce strategy that capitalizes on our internal strengths and abilities, while at the same time fully leverages on global market opportunities.
The Strategic Workforce & Capacity Planning function is now searching for a Principal Advanced Workforce Analytics
In this role you will report to the Head of Strategic Workforce & Capacity Planning. This function covers the full circle from Workforce Strategy to Capacity Planning and Workforce Analytics. We are a small team with a reputation of being in the forefront in Volvo Group in putting workforce analytics in the context of the stakeholder to enable fact-based decision making. We now need to strengthen the team to reach the next level in our ambitions to support this digital transformation.
This is how you could make an impact
As Principal Advanced Workforce Analytics you will strengthen the analytics capability in the team. By developing the external market analytics area and performing advisory support to senior management, backed by fact based advanced analytics you:
secure Group Digital & IT make fact based decisions, taking the latest external conditions and trends into consideration
ensure that Strategic Workforce & Capacity Planning utilizes the state of the art tools and processes to be agile and efficient in WF Analytics and Planning
strengthen the advisory support by regularly assessing and presenting the most interesting and critical WF observations and recommendations for EMT and senior management to consider (e.g. monthly digest)
You will also play an active role in managing the reporting portfolio, safeguarding a one-stop-shop experience for users and securing access management and decommissioning of overlaps/unused reports.

As a Principal Advanced Workforce Analytics, you will be exposed to senior management and can rely on several years of experience in senior stakeholder management. You have experience from leading/coordinating roles, such as Project Management or Team/Delivery Leader, and are used to drive initiatives with a cross-functional teams.
Additional qualifying experience and skills:
Strong analytical profile, with experience of merging and analyzing big data volumes
Knowledge of market leading analytics and reporting tools is meritorious
Power BI, Knime, Advance Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot)
You are a visionary that doesn 't hesitate to break old patterns and see opportunities. Furthermore, you have the proven ability to sell and transform those ideas via a structured and tangible action plan into reality.
You have a problem-solving mindset and the courage to take well evaluated risks. You have the courage to challenge stakeholders when necessary.
