hela Sverige We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher in psychology for a fixed-term position at the School of Law, Psychology and Social Work.

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with an inquiring mind and an interest in one of the areas of research within psychology that are in focus at Örebro University (see
https://www.oru.se/english/research/research-subjects/psychology/). Psychology research at Örebro University is mainly geared towards developmental psychology (for instance children and adolescents' living conditions, development and/or psychopathology, as well as criminal behaviour) and health psychology (for instance pain, sleep, emotional problems, cognition/memory and well-being). In their application, the candidate may propose a subject field for their research, and there are ample opportunities to use existing data or be part of any of the current research projects. The position will be offered to the candidate submitting the highest ranked application.
Eligibility
Those qualified for the appointment as a postdoctoral researcher are applicants who have obtained a doctoral degree in a relevant subject or have a degree from abroad deemed to correspond to a doctoral degree. The doctoral degree should have been awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline. If special grounds exist, candidates who have obtained their doctoral degree prior to that may also be considered. Such grounds may comprise leave of absence due to illness, parental leave, clinical duties, elected position in a trade union or other similar circumstances.
Assessment criteria
Particular importance shall be attached to the qualities enabling the candidate to contribute to the future development of both research and educational activities. The candidate's demonstrated ability and desire to pursue an academic career are also of significance, as is their proficiency in cooperating with other members of staff and contributing to the development of the department's activities.

The position is for a fixed term of one year. The salary depends on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
