Digital Delivery is a function within Group Digital & IT. It has the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives in tight collaboration with Group Trucks Technology as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into products and to secure agile ways of working across the whole Digital Delivery function.
Together with our digital talents, we will work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. It is also in our mission to drive an efficient Group Digital & IT interface and Portfolio Management for all divisions and business areas of the Volvo group, including Group Trucks Technology and Volvo Autonomous Solutions.

This is how you could make an impact
As the Portfolio Manager for Group Trucks Technology (GTT) and Volvo Autonomous Solutions (VAS), you will be responsible for establishing an efficient interface, orchestration of strategic roadmaps, operational plans, delivery activities, engagements, and results between those divisions and business areas, and Group Digital & IT. You will have a very important and senior leadership role that is critical for the success of the digital transformation of GTT and VAS. You will be their ambassador, their key point of contact and when needed their escalation path towards Group Digital & IT, and vice versa. You will also be engaging in key areas inside Group Digital & IT, bringing in the perspective of those business areas.
In this position, you will add value and make a difference, by taking lead in successfully managing the responsibilities in the role in connection with the needs of Group Trucks Technology and Volvo Autonomous Solutions. A key success factor to this will be frequent and concrete interactions with key stakeholders and colleagues, based on the ways of working described, with an empowered and senior approach. As we move forward, you are expected to be a driving force in the continued digital transformation, where experiences, feedback and best practices are used to constantly evolve and improve.
You will be part of the Business Operations Chapter management team and report to the Head of Business Operations Chapter.
These are the key responsibilities
Orchestration of Group Digital & IT work for GTT and VAS
ensuring alignment and transparency of operational outcome with strategy planning and execution
ensuring business value enablement and business co-creation for customers and users
ensuring efficiency and quality of planned and executed digital and IT activities
ensuring planning, follow-up and confirmation of financial activities and outcome
ensuring the planned transformation agenda and plans
ensuring efficient communication, interfaces and interactions between Group Digital & IT and Group Trucks Technology and Volvo Autonomous Solutions
Contact point, escalation and ambassador of your business areas toward Group Digital & IT.
Who are you?
We believe you are a senior professional with management experience, who want to lead, engage, and orchestrate in all the different future Digital & IT aspects, strategic and operational, with Group Trucks Technology. To be successful in this position, you need the ability to understand, control, structure and take leadership in the different portfolios of activities and results that concerns GTT and VAS in relationship with Group Digital & IT.
You are a person who earns your seat at the table, is a skilled communicator and have the capability to lead in a functional set-up. As a foundation, you have a relevant University degree and several years of senior leadership experience as leading leaders.
Furthermore, you have the managerial courage to take well evaluated risks, address stakeholders on different levels and challenge when necessary. You have a passion for building relationships and strong networks, interacting and managing stakeholders in a cross functional and multi-cultural environment with ease. Finally, you find energy in working in a changing environment, executing the transformation agenda of the Volvo Group.
