Plant Manager
Work description
As Plant Manager you will be responsible for the general management of operations at the plant consisting of around 450 employees. You will be responsible for the overall production including two different production areas. You will also coordinate the global technology- and R&D organization located on site.
In cooperation with the Global R&D Manager and the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and organizing the personnel resources. Additionally, you will also continue the development of the Lean organization.
Candidate profile
You will preferably have an Engineering degree at University level. You will also have several years of experience from working in a managerial position within an international environment. It is also of importance that you are familiar with working in a matrix organization. Additionally, you will have experience from working successfully with Lean Manufacturing. A background from working within mechanical manufacturing-, automotive- and process industry is of an advantage. You will also have excellent written and spoken language skills in both Swedish and English and knowledge of business economics.
We are looking for a coaching team builder and an effective communicator. You’re an assertive and independent individual, as well as a strong problem solver and decision maker who can get the job done. In addition, you’re highly organized and have the ability to handle several tasks at the same time. The ability of seeing the bigger picture is of importance. You’re also comfortable with making changes and an enthusiastic leader of development.
