You will be a part of the Engineering Practices department. We deliver processes, services and tools to the Product Development organization to enable the creation of high quality products.
We plan and execute performance and load tests in our own lab, mentor teams and projects in testing, troubleshoot hardware setups in customer implementations and try out new tools and techniques in our lab. One important outcome is the Sizing guides for each release of the products.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND RESPONIBILITY
This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with both hard- and software and the possibility to put your focus on performance testing.
As a Performance Engineer at IFS you are expected to:
• Perform investigations of slowness in business flows by analyzing the database with different tools.
• Perform multiple user tests of the application to define requirements of hardware set ups.
• Document in hardware guides for new installations and upgrades.
• Help out with severe performance issues in customer implementations by troubleshooting the systems.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be a successful Performance Engineer at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but to get even further we would like you to have a relevant academic degree.
We are looking for you who have a background in or a genuine interest for:
• Testing and troubleshooting, performance testing
• Hardware
• Windows and Linux
• Oracle RDBMS
• Loadrunner
• Application server
You are analytic and work in a very structured manner, you can prioritize the work load and get results. You are accessible, a good communicator and can lead your own assignments. You find inspiration in your work and strive for improvements and innovation.
