Minut is the co-host that helps guests, hosts, and neighbors get along by offering a smart home monitoring solution for the short-term rental market. We are on a mission to make sharing work for everyone because we believe sharing - spaces, stories, mutual understanding, and respect - is what makes us human. We're the category leader in a $4.0B market and the only one of our kind recommended by Airbnb.
Minut is a progressive product-first tech company with a team consisting of people with diverse backgrounds. Together, we have experience across the board-from academia and consultancies to Apple and Google and several successful international startups and scaleups. Today we are 18 nationalities based in 7 countries/cities in Europe and the US. We operate a hybrid workplace with our main office in central Malmö and a smaller commercial office in London (near Liverpool St). About 30% of the team is fully remote.
With customers in over 100 different countries and a global presence, we now set our sights on building an international team that will take us to $10M in ARR and need a People & Culture Manager to help us on this journey.
About the role
As a People & Culture Manager at Minut, you will help accelerate the growth journey we're on by designing and establishing a scalable recruiting process, fostering a culture of continuous growth for our team, and building an organization in a post-pandemic world.
You'll work closely with our managers and support them from resource planning to onboarding new colleagues. As we're just getting started with building these processes, you'll have a lot of opportunities to bring your best practices and experience into this.
Minut recruits internationally, and we expect you to be able to and excited about the opportunity to recruit across the globe as we continue to expand.
In addition, we believe you will help us define Minut's employer branding strategy and work closely with marketing, managers, and the team at large to implement it.
Main responsibilities
Design the recruitment process from beginning to end. You will partner with hiring managers to recruit, attract, and hire the best talent for their teams.
Develop and implement strategies that will attract, engage, and develop employees, as well as set measurable goals for implementation.
Coach and support managers about people-related topics (e.g., hiring, performance management and development, team development, change management).
Be an active part of the onboarding process for new employees.
Help foster an inclusive and diverse workplace.
The team
As our first full-time People & Culture employee, you'll be a part of the Operations team, which shares some of these responsibilities with other managers today. Over time, the People & Culture team is expected to grow too, and we want you to be a part of shaping that. We think this role is a perfect fit for someone passionate about recruiting and wants to take the next step in their career and grow together with a high-tech product company.
Reporting directly to Minut's Head of Operations, Marcus, and working closely with Nils, Minut's CEO, you'll be a part of a tightly-knit team with high ambitions. We strive to put people first in everything we do by designing thoughtful and clear processes.
What we offer
Impact - Join a small yet expanding team where you will have a large impact on culture and practices within the company.
Ownership - We strive to offer everyone on the team real ownership in the form of stock options.
Growth - Grow into a wider people role if that is what you want to shape your career.
Learning - Be part of an environment highly focused on knowledge and developing new skills.
Success - We're a product company on our success journey for international growth.
A flexible working policy with the option to work from any of our offices in London, Malmö, or remote.
Travel - May be required occasionally for this role.
