Challenge description
Are you passionate about people & culture and have an interest in commercial business than this opportunity could be of interest for you? We are looking for a people & culture business partner who is interested to be part of a transformational journey towards retail excellence together with our owned dealerships in Europe and drive a cultural transformation and a new way of working for sales region Europe and International.
Sales Region Europe and sales region International with approx. 1400 employees are responsible for all commercial activities within respective region. Sales region International, include Africa, Middle East and Oceania. Within sales region Europe we have six owned dealerships located in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Poland, and France. These dealerships drive and develop the CE business within their respective country, organization size varies depending on the market, from 100 to 250 employees. Each dealership has a local management team.
In this role, you will drive the dealer retail excellence transformation together with a network, representing different competences from various parts of the regional organization including local dealer management. You will drive the strategic people and culture agenda together with the network and work in close collaboration with HR colleagues in local dealerships. The people & cultural agenda includes cultural development, translate business needs into people and competence implications/actions and to develop HR processes to operational excellence in alignment with Volvo standard.
In addition to this role, we want you drive the cultural transformation and new way of working together with both, sales region Europe and sales region International. We strive to move away from traditional way of working create a flatter organization, drive empowerment of individuals and teams. On this journey you will interact with HR in region, VCE/Volvo and with regional management teams.
You will report to Head of HR sales region Europe and International, Volvo Construction Equipment.

Who are you? Competence & Mindset

We believe you have several years of experience of driving a people and culture strategic agenda in an international environment. We want you to be able to work in spectrum from being very strategic to also sometimes be involved in operational actions. You have a passion for driving change, facilitate activities where change can happen and to coach teams and individuals. We want you to be brave to challenge the traditional views and way of working. You are in the forefront of using the latest digital tools as an enabler for driving efficiency.
You have very good knowledge in HR processes such as competence development, talent management, compensation & benefits, and labor/union relations. You understand the importance of building trustful relationships based on Volvo values. You have a high drive and ambition to stay on your own lifelong learning journey and sharing your knowledge and insights to others, comes natural for you.

Qualification Required
University degree in HR or equal education
Several years of HR professional experience
Experience from change management
Proven English skills
