hela Sverige Are you a proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on professional looking for your next challenge? We are now seeking a Payroll Team Lead for a maternity cover. This is a great opportunity to join an international HR environment and take on a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate payroll operations across multiple countries.
This is a 12-month employment via Adecco, based at the company's global headquarters in Gothenburg. Please submit your resume in English.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support a team of payroll specialists, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
• Oversee payroll calculations, including wages, deductions, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal policies.
• Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, and collaboration with Finance and HR teams.
• Handle escalations and complex payroll matters, providing expertise and guidance.
• Take end-to-end ownership of payroll processes, including compliance with tax filings and year-end reporting.
• Act as a point of contact for external payroll vendors, auditors, and tax authorities.
The Ideal Candidate
To thrive in this role, you are structured, analytical, and collaborative. You bring solid knowledge of payroll processes and systems, and you feel confident leading and developing a team. You are comfortable working independently as well as cross-functionally with stakeholders, always ensuring deadlines and accuracy are met. With high attention to detail, you handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Requirements
• Previous experience with HR and payroll systems (Workday experience is an advantage).
• Knowledge of Swedish payroll processes and experience with payroll software, preferably Kontek.
• A relevant degree in Payroll, HR, or Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in operational payroll work.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
