At HR Operations we are responsible for excellent HR services to the organisation on a global basis. We provide direct access tools, process transactions, deliver salaries each month, answer employee inquiries and resolve issues. The department consists of the following sections, Payroll, HR Service Center, Recruitment, Global Mobility, HR Applications and Learning Services.
As Payroll Officer you will work within the Payroll group. We are responsible for delivering the correct salary to all employees in Sweden at the right time, and supports the customer in all wage-related issues. Our customers are Volvo Gar Group Torslanda, Volvo Body Components Olofström, Volvo Car Engine Skövde, Polestar, Volvobil and Retail Solution. We are also the center of expertise in wage related issues to our customers. You will be responsible for your own area of payroll and eventually participate in answering various inquiries from our customers. We are constantly growing with the organisation, today we are 22 employees with different levels of experience and now we are looking to strengthen our team with a Payroll Officer.
Main responsibilities
• Recording and archiving of personnel and salary changes in the personnel system (SAP, Aditro L, PA80, Tidinfo)
• Critically examine incoming documents as well as perform established controls
• Support system responsible with user acceptance tests
• Ensure that Volvo Car Groups and related units follows the organisation laws and agreements related to salary
• Lead the investigation of individual inquiries from the authorities and organisations such as the Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Enforcement Authority
• Centre of expertise in wage-related issues
• Create and issue certificates concerning the employment of employees
• Lead, develop and coordinate the process-related issues across business area
Required qualifications
• Bachelor in HR/Economics or experience within payroll/economics
• Good computer skills, particularly in Excel with respect to Pivot Tables, V-Lock Up and Graph Generation Access
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents
• Fluent in Swedish and high level English, both verbally and in writing
• System knowledge of the systems TIDINFO, PA80, SAP, Aditro L is meritorious
