We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract. This role is based out of ourGothenburg HQ.
In this role, you will primarily manage payroll for Sweden and coordinate payrolls in other countries including the UK, France, Denmark, Portugal, Germany, and the U.S. If you are experienced with payroll processes, familiar with Kontek, and possess knowledge of payroll systems and labor laws across multiple countries, we'd love to hear from you!
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of payroll, pensions, benefits, and employee insurances across multiple countries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing payroll processes with precision and efficiency. You will ensure that all payroll transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner. Key responsibilities include:
Manage monthly payroll processing for Sweden using Kontek.
Ensure timely, accurate submission of payroll data (salaries, benefits, deductions).
Coordinate with outsourced payroll providers for Sweden, UK, France, Denmark, Portugal Germany and U.S.
Ensure compliance with Swedish labor laws and payroll regulations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure regulatory updates across relevant countries, where we operate.
Manage pension processes for eligible employees.
Handle employee insurance administration, including accident insurance and global benefits.
Partner with the Total Rewards Manager on compensation and benefits initiatives.
Assist with workforce planning, personnel budgeting, and salary reviews.
Provide payroll support to employees and managers.
Use Kontek for payroll processing and data management.
Support accurate employee record maintenance in HR systems like Hibob.
ARE YOU THE ONE?
We are searching for a flexible and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have solid payroll knowledge, along with the ability to adapt to rapid changes in processes or priorities. Here are the key qualifications we are looking for:
Minimum 2 years of payroll management, particularly in Swedish payroll.
Knowledge of payroll processes and labor laws in Portugal, Germany, Denmark, the UK, France, and U.S. is a significant plus.
Proficiency in Kontek payroll system or equivalent.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with payroll software.
Knowledge of Swedish labor laws and payroll practices in multiple countries.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills to interact with employees and external providers.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with HR systems like Hibob.
Basic understanding of global payroll practices and labor laws in the UK, France, Portugal, Germany, Denmark, and U.S.
