hela Sverige Price Management role, inside Aftermarket Price & Sales Support is responsible to develop and maintain our parts price structure, governance and strategy. The parts business is one of the major contributors for GTS profitability and pricing is an essential part of our marketing offering. Our task is to support the markets and regions to optimize sales & profitability by providing data and tools to facilitate the decision making process.
Aftermarket Price & Sales Support consists of 5 functions: Price Management, Sales Channel, Service Agreement, Product Management & Business Development.
We are now posting 2 positions as:
Parts Price Segment Manager
The position holder will work closely together with the GTS sales regions to efficiently develop the price structures for the parts assortment he/she is responsible. He/She shall strive to maximize sales penetration in profit for the company.
The position reports to the Manager of the Price Management process.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Lead Segment price positioning strategy in which Volvo Group and ?Non-Volvo Group Parts? are positioned for growth in revenue and overall profitability. Ensure the Volvo Group has products released and positioned to capture 2nd and 3rd owner market share.
• Document strategy based on PPS guidelines
• Manage Price & GP within the Segment
• Track Segment material Cost
• Define cost improvement actions within the assigned Segment
• Lead the development and execution of Price Strategy & Structure
• Continuously Improve Segment Pricing Structure & Strategy based on Regions/Market inputs & Benchmark Information.
• Secure prompt availability of Suggested Retail & Segmentation of Parts in his/her segment
• Project Inputs for Parts Pricing aspects in assigned segment
• Work with Product Managers to define Global Segment Strategy.
• Support Markets & Regions on Pricing Competency aspects
• Providing basic information to the markets that supports the decision making process by category
• Respond to Price requests/Complaints
• Drive Cost improvement initiatives towards purchasing
Profile
• The role requires a strong analytical thinking and a result oriented person. He/she will lead the price initiatives from the GTS HQ for our 3 brands (UD/RT/VT) for the assigned product segment.
Qualifications
• Significant Aftermarket experience in the Volvo Group
• Previous experience as a Market and/or Regional price manager will be highly ranked
• Commercial awareness and a strong business understanding
• A driver of change and a positive approach to change (can do mind-set)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to work across different cultures to achieve business growth
• Proficient in English, written and spoken
• Shares common values with the Volvo Way, the Code of Conduct and high ethical standards
• Computer Knowledge e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint
