At Normative we are creating the norm for carbon accounting by providing intelligence to companies to reduce their climate footprint. We translate financial data into tangible carbon insights enabling companies to understand and reduce their carbon emission. What we do has a real positive impact on the climate. You can too!
The role
As Normative is growing across geographic regions and sectors to make known the sustainability impact of all economic activities on the planet, we are teaming up with an increasing number of large corporations, governmental bodies, and NGOs.
Our Partnerships Coordinator will - you guessed it - coordinate all these relationships that are essential for taking action on climate change. With this new role, we want to dedicate more time and energy to building a strong partnership network that supports not only our partners directly but also produces positive externalities that will spread across the partners' customers, clients, and collaborators.
We believe that as our Partnerships Coordinator, you are feeling a strong intrinsic motivation to contribute to Normative's mission and vision, are enjoying proactively and confidently approaching actors from the public and private sector alike, and are always looking for new opportunities to form mutually beneficial partnerships.
For us, it is more important that you have the right social and organizational skills and a passion for our vision than years of experience in managing partnerships. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Operations.
What you will do:
You will be a crucial part of our growing Business Operations team, developing and nurturing key partnerships. These partnerships are formed with governmental bodies, large international corporations, and NGOs and will be central to support Normative's strategic growth.
You will oversee, facilitate, and coordinate all aspects of our strategic partnerships.
Your day-to-day activities include establishing new connections with potential partners, running pilot projects with them, engaging in due diligence, closing NDA agreements, writing grant applications and introducing partners to our wider range of portfolio activities such as our contribution to the SME Climate Hub.
As our Partnerships Coordinator, we will rely on you to identify new opportunities to grow and strengthen our partnership network, to help us connect with key actors from the private and public sector, and to work across our various teams within Normative to ensure information is efficiently transferred within the organization.
We think you will be a good match if:
You are a skilled communicator, both in writing and verbally, and love to connect with people from various backgrounds.
You are a strategic thinker who enjoys conceptualizing and establishing new standards and frameworks.
You have strong organizational and multitasking skills
You have already gathered one to two years of experience interacting with governmental bodies and NGOs.
Our vision of democratizing carbon accounting resonates with you.
You are passionate about climate action and have a very good overview of this space (science consensus, key actors and initiatives, current political developments).
It would be great if you also have:
An existing network in the public sector;
Experience in a rapidly evolving environment and small team where we trust and help one another to grow every day;
An intrinsic drive to take action, move things forward, and make a real contribution towards a sustainable future.
At Normative you will work in a modern and fast-paced environment with highly driven and achieving people with a common vision to make a change for a sustainable future. We trust that you work independently and always strive for excellence. At Normative you'll have opportunities for professional development and competitive benefits.
Location:
We operate with a hybrid remote model with an office in Stockholm. This means you can be based anywhere in Sweden, or Denmark where we also have parts of our team, but you are expected to travel, in a climate friendly way, to meet at our office about 1 time per month (this is of course when we are again able to travel and meet safely).
We adopt a continuous selection process, so make sure to apply as soon as possible!
