hela Sverige You will play a central role in the value chain, with many different interfaces around the organization. It will be your daily responsibility to quality ensure and update our ERP-system with back office data for production. You will play a key role in Bushings next step of digitalization by updating our IT-solutions and act as project manager for larger IT changes and implementations.
Based on analyzes you will set up strategies for production and material planning. You have the ability to see how different choices you make will affect other parts of the chain and will be able to make overall assessments.
Your role has a major impact on the production workflow, you are responsible for production coverage and / or material availability. Teamwork is an important part of the work - you will work closely with strategic purchasing, design, production, planning and logistics. Another important task is to initiate and manage continuous improvement projects.
To succeed, you need to be driven and persistent, with a focus on working with continuous improvements. With your analytical mindset, you know how to organize, prioritize and propose solutions. You have a passion for details and are extremely accurate in your work. Your inputs will set the starting point for quality through the value chain. You thrive in a high-paced environment and with your communicative and collaborative skills you inspire your team to great performance.
As a foundation, you have a Bachelor's degree in IT with specialization in a relevant field or experience from working with planning or production in relevant fields. Knowledge of ERP/production systems is advantageous, as is theoretical knowledge of and experience from programing and other IT-implementations work. You need high skills in comprehending and grasping the bigger picture to see how different parts of the IT-system correlate to each other. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement work is a plus. Since you will be part of a global business, fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
You will be part of ABB Components, a business unit within the Power Grids division. Components has been manufacturing components for transformers since the early 20th century. The business unit is based in Ludvika and is ABB's largest manufacturer of tap changers and IEC bushings. The unit is also responsible for the research and development of these products that have a worldwide market.
