hela Sverige Our client, which is an international company in the logistics sector, is looking for a driven and people oriented Operations Manager Sea, situated in Gothenburg.
Your role
As Operations Manager Sea you will be responsible to manage the operational business and ensure customer satisfaction according to company principles. You will be responsible for the departments operation performance and results, and ensuring effective processes and delivery.
Your main working areas will be
Responsible for daily operations
Responsible for driving, supporting and coaching your employees (10-15 employees)
Implement and communicate our company values to the department
Implement and streamline aligned company processes, policies and routines
Manage employee development and Performance Management according to company policies
Manage financial business result and turnover
Profit and loss responsibility. You will have a budget of approximately 200-300 millions SEK (turnover)
You will report directly to the Regional Director West and be situated at the Gothenburg office.
Your background
To succeed in this role we believe that you have a degree on, preferably, within logistics or economics or equal. You have minimum 3 years experience from a management position in the logistics industry and extensive knowledge about the logistics industry, mainly within Sea Freight forwarding.
Other requirements:
Experience to lead and develop people
Experience from process management
Financial and business impact understanding
In a professional way manage and establish good customer relations.
Ability to develop the business with the three stakeholders interest in mind customers, owners and employees.
Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook - high level
Good knowledge, both written and spoken, in Swedish and English.
