During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, after-market parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Volvo Construction Equipment in Hallsberg is involved in manufacturing the world's best construction machinery!

The Quality, Environment & Safety department's responsibility is to lead, coordinate and develop Operation Hallsberg's quality, work environment and environmental management system. We provide support and assistance to all the company's processes and functions in these areas and we contribute to improved results by constantly developing methods, tools and systems.
We are a team of 21 caring colleagues. In our department we have a lot of different roles and we are an important part of the daily operation. Developing strategies for our area is also a big part of what we do. We have a very warm and friendly atmosphere where we always help and support each other.
Main activities and responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer you will be able to work with a variety of tasks that cover both strategic and operational assignments. You have a coordinating role and lead activities to drive the world-class quality work.
You will be part of the development of systematic quality work, work on preventive quality activities e.g. in the industrialization of new products, work with continuous improvement of quality-related key figures, analyze data to develop the basis for quality improvement measures and distribute skills by supporting and coaching the organization.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills
A BSc or MSc in engineering science
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
Experience from quality improvement work
Quality tools and problem-solving methods
ISO 9001 quality management system
Solid English skills
Valid driver license
Swedish is a merit
A valid work permit for Sweden is required.
