Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program

If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!

During 15 intense and exciting months, starting September 2019, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.

Our organization:
Process & IT bridges Business and IT. We listen to the needs from business which we then together with our colleagues in Group IT transform into IT solutions. We are divided into different sub-areas and for this position we are looking for an individual to join PRD Controlling, supporting the financial side of our business.

This is us, your new team:
Our team drives the implementation of processes and solutions for GTO in the field of Controlling. We have a passion for both business and IT, and bridging the gap between the two is also our key competence. Our team consists of a diverse group of people, located globally, with different backgrounds that complement each other. Together with our colleagues within Process & IT and other functions we deliver the necessary solutions to bring GTO to the next level.

Main activities and responsibilities:
You will support the implementation of controlling processes and solutions within GTO. You will work in our implementation projects, where your project role will be agile. Depending on the context, you could act as a project manager, change manager, business analyst or eventually a subject matter expert - based on the combination of your experiences and the project need.

You will work in close collaboration with other members of the GTO Process & IT organization as well as with other relevant stakeholders from GTO. Besides from implementation work, you will also be engaged in internal continuous improvement activities.

Your base will be at our head office in Gothenburg but the location for your assignments is flexible and travelling will be required. Currently, members of our team support implementations in Asia, Europe and North America. This is done both from distance and on site.

Key responsibilities
Support implementation of PRD Controlling processes and systems according to the GTO Process & IT roadmap
Identify and plan activities required for a successful implementation through gap analysis
Manage and delegate work to both internal and external resources as required
Secure that relevant business requirements are captured and handed over to Group IT
Ensure that delivered processes and solutions are thoroughly validated
Confirm that receiving organization is ready to take ownership of delivered processes and solutions

Location: Sweden, Gothenburg, Lundby

You are comfortable with leading activities, are able to drive for results and are characterized by high integrity and trust.

You have a passion for both business and IT, and can easily switch between the two "languages". Previous experience of Controlling is a merit and something you would benefit from in your daily work. However, no one is an expert from the start but you should have the intention to eventually become an expert in the processes and solutions we deliver.
